Shion Uzuki is the main protagonist of the Xenosaga trilogy along with KOS-MOS. In Episode I and Episode II, she is a Vector Industries employee, in charge of the KOS-MOS Project. She left the company during the events of A Missing Year and cooperated with Scienta from that moment. Her past is shrouded in mystery and her relationship with KOS-MOS is at the center of the plot.
She had a brother, Jin Uzuki, with whom she had a complex and difficult relationship, mainly due to the death of her parents on Old Miltia when she was a child.
